Not only is Australia suffering from bush fires that is rampaging through the country, but due to extreme heat the wildlife is taking strain. It might be slightly more evident in bats because smaller species are often overlooked, but these events posses a threat to all wildlife

This is not a new occurrence, and a similar heat event was seen at the end of 2018 when tens of thousands of bats died
